Cicciarelli was invited to tryout with the SLSG (St. Louis Scott Gallagher) Metro Academy U-15/16 team last week. Based on his performance at the first tryout session, he was asked to come back for the U-17/18 team tryout in Edwardsville. Cicciarelli, a key part of last year’s state championship team as a sophomore, made the U-17/18 team, which means will be playing two years up from his age group. SLSG Metro is part of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Program.
