Another rockin' tune was "Hairspray," performed by Alona Dawson, a 4th grade teacher; Kris Coker-Schlink, school librarian; Terry Spayer, Danielle Bockler, a 3rd grade teacher,; Katie Welch, a 4th grade teacher and Heidi Winkler, writing teacher.

Hines Idol, a spoof of American Idol, drew more than 200 people to Hines School last night.
Students and school staff lip-synced to songs by performers as diverse as the Village People to Hannah Montana to Sonny and Cher.
